“ Food was great!! i came to san antonio for the weekend and was blown away, since i am from fort worth tx i was expecting the food to taste the same because it looked close to what we have. mannn was i blown away loved the food and drinks. Mole is good, to much peanut flavor for my liking but it was good if i lived in san antonio i would be a loyal customer, loved it! ”

“ I want to give this restaurant 5 stars because the food is so authentic and well seasoned. However, the service is lacking and also the price is a little high. We visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning and it was busy but not packed. We were seated right away and saw that everyone was eating delicious looking food. The guisados reminded me of my tias' cooking in Mexico. We did have to wait to get refills on our drinks and other than serving our food we didn't have anyone check on us to see if we needed anything. I loved the decor and the music playing. We payed over $70 for three plates (2 fideos with flautas and one cheese empanadas either a guisado) coffee and two aguas de Jamaica. ”

“ This place is a hole in the wall and you're missing out. The food was very tasty. Barbacoa was all meat not fat. Yummy. Bean and cheese tacos was very good. Tortillas appear to be homemade. ”

“ Nice small Mexican restaurant near downtown. Arrived right at as they were opening up. Hostess was very attentive, answered several questions regarding menu since this was my first time eating there. Food had really good flavor. Ordered breakfast plate called Plato de gusto which came with eggs, potatoes, refried beans and a meat of choice. I chose Tinga de pollo, chicken in a red sauce that was slightly spicy, delicious. Plate could have been shared. Also got the cafe de olla, a dark roast coffee with a sweet flavor (piloncillo). ”

“ Omg! Run to San Taco! All of the Guisados were flavorful and yummy. We had Aguas frescas to start. The jimaca was like what you would get in Mexico! They're isn't tap water only bottled. The wait staff were SUPER helpful on picking what to order. And you can go to the counter to see all of the options. We ordered two plates of the 5 mini tacos of 5 different guisados each and weren't super full we we added a Sope and a Quesadilla with our favorites. The sope with the chicharron and the quesadilla with the bistek. The masa was fresh and Christy! ”
